Ok, my pity party is over. Time to move on. We are selling our house in Texas. I love that house. I bought it while Wade was in Iraq the last time. I painted every wall and put my heart into it. I wanted to settle down there and have never had that feeling before, but it wasn't in the plan. I wanted so badly to hold onto it and looking back I should have seen the signs that said "Sell!" Now though I am so ready to get rid of the house - it seems like such a burden! Now we are just waiting on our stimulus check to arrive so we can fix a few things on the house and get it on the market. I pray it sells quickly b/c it affects the other thing we are thinking about that I can't discuss just yet but I really really want this to happen!
Jingles get stuck in my head so easily, I have had that stupid Subway $5 song stuck in my head all morning. but worse, when I was about 6 there was a Best Western commercial with dancers that sang the Best Western phone number,"Call 1-800-528-1234 - Best Western"and they would keep singing and dancing and over 20 years later I still remember it. I will be cleaning and start singing it or Dora the Explorer. Now though my girls are in love with Hannah Montana and I will just start singing "Best of Both Worlds" even when the girls aren't around! Embarassing at stores!
I am excited about moving next weekend. I know I must be the only person in the world who gets excited about packing and unpacking, but I love new spaces! I counted it up the other day and I have lived in 23 different places in my life in 29 years, so moving is what I do best. I love getting into a new place and cleaning it top to bottom, painting and making this new space a warm, inviting place for my family and friends. That being said, I don't like moving other people. I will help b/c I know it is hard work and people need help. But I alway feel like I'm not doing it right on others things. I know eveyone has specific things they want done and to me packing is personal. I don't even let my husband pack that much! We have a system, he gets all the electronics set up and moves heavy things and I unpack everything else. It works for us. It gets done in a reasonable amount of time and I know where things are!
I guess that's about all for now, I may write more later because not a lot is going on at work today and I need something to do!!!

You do have experience in the moving department! I hate it - but that might be because David and I own literally over a thousand hardback books... Easy to pack, but hard to move. :) I hope you get lots of clear direction for your decisions - and that your TX house sells quickly!
